2019 Collaboration Development Fund Request for Proposals

 

The Office of Global Programs requests small-scale proposals in the following areas as a way to enhance Penn State’s strategic partnership with National Taiwan Normal University:
1) Research projects
2) Collaborative courses

Penn State applicants must identify a faculty or staff to work with at NTNU and vice versa prior to submitting the application. Up to 5 awards could be made depending on the number and nature of applications.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be full-time Penn State or NTNU faculty or staff members.

Timeline:
1. Proposal submission due: February 26, 2019
2. Anticipated award announcement: March 26, 2019
3. Project period From April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020
4. Final Report submission due: March 31, 2020

Subsidy: Up to $5,000 for Penn State applicants and the matching funds of $5,000 from NTNU for NTNU applicants.

Categories: domestic and international travel expenses, business expenses (such as printing fees, miscellaneous expenses, data collection fees), etc. According to the relevant laws and regulations of the school to prepare the plan, beneficial to write-off.
