Online Meeting between Indian Institutes of Technology(IIT) Jammu and NTNU

On January 19 2021, NTNU hold an online meeting with the Indian Institutes of Technology(IIT) Jammu.

The Indian Institute of Technology Jammu was inaugurated on 6th August 2016, and welcomed the first batch of students into the campus in Paloura, Jammu. The campus in Paloura currently houses the PhD scholars and is being developed into a high-end research facility.

This time, Dr. Manoj Singh Gaur, Director of IIT Jammu, and Dr. Vinit Jakhetiya, Associate Dean for International Relations, from Indian Institutes of Technology(IIT) Jammu, had a virtual meeting with our Prof. Hsiang-Lin LIU, Vice President for International Affairs, and Ms. Kao-Ming LIN, Director of Academic Cooperation Division, NTNU.

The main purpose of the meeting is to discuss the possibility of signing a 1+1 Master's Degree. The two schools also exchanged ideas on credit calculation, faculties structure and other related topics. After the meeting, both sides had a preliminary understanding of each other's curriculum structure, and further discussions will be held after internal consultations.
