On May 28th, Prof. Pornsak Sriamornsak, the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Research of Silpakorn University, Thailand, and other 27 guests (including Vice Presidents, Deans, Directors, etc.) visited NTNU. Prof. Chung-Mou Lee, Executive Vice President ; Prof. Kuang-Chao Yu, Vice President for International Affairs, Office of International Affairs; Prof. Ying-Shao Hsu, Vice President for Research & Development, Office of Research & Development; Prof. Chun-Liang LIN, Dean of College of Arts; Prof. Kwun-Min Chen, Dean of College of Science; Prof. Hsueh-Chih CHEN, Dean of College of Education; Prof. Shih-Yu CHOU, Dean of College of Management; Prof. Hao-Ren KE, Director of the University Library; Asso. Prof. Tzu-Bin LIN, Director of the Office of Teacher Education and Careers Service; Prof. Lien-Tung CHUANG, Chair of the Department of Fine Arts, and Prof. Yuan-Feng CHANG, Executive Director of Research Center for Conservation of Cultural Relics (RCCCR), welcomed them in person.
It was the very first time that the Vice Presidents of Silpakorn University visited NTNU. In fact, NTNU has just signed the MOU and student exchange agreement between the College of Arts and their Faculty of Painting Sculpture and Graphic Arts this April, 2018. In order to let Silpakorn University know NTNU more, the Vice President briefly introduced the features of NTNU with the assistance of the short clip. In addition, two professors from NTNU's Office of Research & Development and the Office of Teacher Education and Careers Service are invited to present the recent situation of the higher education in Taiwan. Relatively, the Director from the Office of International Affairs from Silpakorn University also give a short speech about their university during the forum session.
After the forum, the guests had a campus tour led by our student ambassdor, including visiting our College of Arts (Art Gallery and RCCCR). Two professors from the Department of Fine Arts introduced their achievements with lively demonstration and paintings, which highly impressed the guests. Every participants had a wonderful conversation and obtained more knowledge from each other during this delegation.
